Finely carved nativity set from the original ALBL nativity scene from Oberammergau. The nativity figurines are carved from maple wood in 4.75 inch. The reference size of the crib figures is the standing Joseph.
Lovingly carved nativity figures such as the baby Jesus in the manger, Maria, Josef, the shepherds with their animals, ox and donkey in the stable and the angels are made by the Bavarian carvers around Oberammergau. It is based on the traditional motifs of original nativity scenes from the Alpine region in Germany, Austria and Italy.
In detail, this nativity set consists of the “Holy Family” # 1- # 3, the ox # 4 and the donkey # 5, the three wise men # 5-7, the shepherd with sheep # 16, the kneeling shepherd # 15, the Sheep # 39, # 43, the angel with lamb # 33, the praying angel # 31, the star # 9 and the classic nativity stable.
