Shipping within Germany with DHL Package:
– Order value up to and including 100 EUR = 9 EUR shipping cost
– As of order value exceeds 100 EUR = free shipping

Express shipping within Germany with DHL Express Domestic:

Nativity sets

The artfully hand carved nativity sets from Oberammergau for the original ALBL nativity scene are unique hand crafts. Indoor nativity sets at its finest. All lovingly designed traditional nativity sets made of wood, such as the baby Jesus in the manger, Mary and Joseph, the shepherds with their animals, ox and donkey and the angels, are made by the Bavarian carvers in and around Oberammergau. The classic Christmas nativity as we know it today has its origins in early Christianity. The only nativity figure es found, however, were the baby Jesus (in the manger), ox and donkey. It was not until the Middle Ages that the figure of Mary was added, and later Joseph. Bethlehem, as people imagined it at the time, served as the landscape for the hand carved nativity scenes. The ALBL nativity sets are handmade according to the old vintage motifs of the grandfathers and under the influence of traditional nativity figures from the Alpine region in Germany, Austria and Italy. Here in the ALBL online shop you will find the traditional nativity sets in different sizes and variants. Versions in gold are only available from a size of the nativity figurines of 8 inch, measured with the standing Joseph.
